THE NUTPUB
A gig paid for in Cashu ecash
A ticket site data mines who you are, how much you spent, what you saw, where you sat and who you went with. Your local NutPub lets your phone pay at the door, the bar and tip your favourite artists or band. No app, no account, no email.
CocoThe wallet in the fan's browser: no app, no account. It pays each request on the spot and keeps the change on the phone.
cashu-tsMakes and checks the ecash: payment requests, locks to the artist's and the bar's keys, and the mint's signatures (DLEQ).
Both open source, from the Cashu developers: Coco · cashu-ts
The NUTs it uses
NUT-00 – 03Ecash notes, signed blind, swapped at the mint: the base of every payment.
NUT-04Sats in over Lightning (on this test mint, pretend Lightning).
NUT-07"Is it spent yet?" The bar's "already poured" and the artist's Collect both ask the mint.
NUT-10 · NUT-11Spending conditions: every payment locked to its owner's key; a drink with a locktime at last orders and a refund to the artist.
NUT-12DLEQ proofs: the door checks the mint really signed each note, offline, without calling the mint.
NUT-18Payment requests: the amount, the mint and the lock, in one string.
NUT-24HTTP 402 with Cashu: the ticket, every 10 seconds of the set at home, every tip. Paid inside the same web request.
NIP-61 · nextNutzaps on Nostr: the same locked tip, published as a Nostr event, so a tip can come with who you are, if you want.
